Our Charitably Funded Services

Trauma Service

Supporting children and young people who have experienced bereavement, trauma or other significant life events, helping them understand their feelings and develop ways to cope and move forward.

Bedfordshire Suicide Bereavement Service

Providing compassionate support to individuals and families affected by a death by suicide, helping them through the complex emotions and practical challenges that can follow.

Recreational Therapeutic Service

Using activities such as football and music to engage children and young people who may find traditional talking therapies difficult. building confidence, and emotional wellbeing.

Babyloss Bereavement Service

Providing specialist emotional support to parents and families following the loss of a baby, giving them a safe space to talk, grieve and begin to adjust to their loss.

Disability Friendship Scheme

Creating safe and supportive opportunities for children and young people with learning and physical disabilities to make friends, build confidence, socialise and enjoy activities together.

The Bereavement Service

CHUMS Bereavement Service provides community-based therapeutic support for children, young people and their parents/carers. Our sessions are delivered by bereavement-trained therapists and volunteers.
