Phil’s fundraiser lifts-off to raise £60,000 for CHUMS
While many people are slowing down at 80, Phil is doing the opposite.
The blind fundraiser, accompanied by his guide dog, Humbug, has embarked on an extraordinary mission to lift a combined 6 million pounds in weights over six months, while raising 6 million pence (£60,000) for CHUMS.

CHUMS CHARITY IS HOPE.
CHUMS Charity supports a number of local services in Bedfordshire and Luton, which rely wholly on charitable funds. With the help of CHUMS Charity and the contribution of so many different supporters in the local community, £600,000 is required to fund those parts of the service that do not receive contractual funding. Those services are:
The Trauma Service
The Bedfordshire Suicide Bereavement Service (BSBS)
The Recreational Therapeutic Service
The Babyloss Bereavement Service
The Disability Friendship Scheme in Luton
